Smart Spin is the platform of a table-tennis league in Iași, built by Bitnoda in Nuxt with server-side rendering: online sign-ups for the weekly stages, an ELO rating updated live, rankings, player profiles and an end-of-season Cup.
The challenge
A league with weekly stages needs sign-ups, results and rankings to be up to date for every player right after each match.
How it was built
The sign-up
Players create an account and sign up for a stage with a single tap.
The rating
The ELO rating updates live, with every score entered.
The rankings
An overall ranking on total score, with Start and Advanced categories.
The season
Player profiles, badges and an end-of-season Cup.
The pages
Nuxt renders pages on the server, so the rankings load fast and can be indexed.
