e-voluntar.md is a volunteering platform for the Republic of Moldova with a kanban workflow, built by Ion Rusu, the founder of Bitnoda, with FastAPI and Nuxt 3 / Nuxt UI. Its first version was his bachelor’s thesis at TUIASI.

The challenge

Volunteering runs on coordination: tasks, people and progress must be visible to everyone, or good intentions get lost.

How it was built

  1. The workflow

    Tasks move through a kanban with clear stages that everyone involved can see.

  2. The back end

    A Python API built with FastAPI.

  3. The interface

    A Nuxt 3 front end built with Nuxt UI components.

  4. The journey

    It started as a bachelor’s thesis at TUIASI and grew into a public platform.
