An interactive map of US jobs, a dashboard and a WordPress plugin for a work-and-travel agency.

Acord Travel is the platform of a work-and-travel agency in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, built by Ion Rusu, the founder of Bitnoda: an interactive SVG map of US job offers, a vanilla JS and GSAP dashboard and the Acord Forms WordPress plugin.

The challenge

Students need to see at a glance where the US jobs are, and the agency needs its own forms on its WordPress site.

How it was built

  1. The map

    An interactive SVG map shows the job offers across the USA, state by state.

  2. The dashboard

    Written in vanilla JavaScript and animated with GSAP, no framework.

  3. The plugin

    “Acord Forms” is a custom WordPress plugin, with releases built automatically in CI.

  4. The deploy

    Docker images live in AWS ECR and run on Docker Swarm.
