SpaceBox (spacebox.md), a 3D landing page and product configurator for modular houses, built in raw three.js. As you scroll, a Blender model of the house comes apart piece by piece, so visitors see how it is built.
Do I need 3D models of my product?
Not necessarily. If you have 3D or CAD files, we start from them and optimize them for the web; if not, we model in Blender from plans, sketches or photos.
Does a 3D configurator work on phones?
Yes, when it is designed for phones from the start: compressed models, a capped rendering resolution on low-end devices and a static fallback for devices that cannot run the scene.
Will the configurator page still rank in Google?
Yes. The text of the page is pre-rendered as HTML and the 3D scene loads on top of it, so search engines and AI crawlers read the page like any other.
